  • Lets you create a "S-LUT" (Santa's Look-Up Table) with your gift preferences
  • Provides AI-powered "warmer/colder" guidance to help gift-givers
  • Keeps your specific wishlist private while guiding others
  • Offers a fun, festive way to handle holiday gift-giving

The Service is for entertainment purposes. It is not a commercial gift registry, e-commerce platform, or professional service.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service
  • If you are between 13-18, you must have parental or guardian permission
  • By using the Service, you confirm you meet these requirements

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these age requirements.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service responsibly and lawfully. You must NOT:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Harass, bully, threaten, or harm other users
  • Post or share content that is hateful, violent, or discriminatory
  • Attempt to manipulate, exploit, or "jailbreak" the AI
  • Use the Service to generate harmful, dangerous, or illegal content
  • Impersonate others or create fake accounts
  • Spam, flood, or abuse rate limits
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers without permission
  • Circumvent security measures or access restrictions
  • Use the Service in any way that could harm minors

4. Content Guidelines

When creating your S-LUT profile or chatting with Santa:

🚫 Prohibited Content:
  • Sexually explicit or adult content
  • Violence, gore, or content promoting self-harm
  • Hate speech or discrimination
  • Personal information of others without consent
  • Requests for illegal items or activities
  • Content that exploits or endangers minors

We use AI moderation to detect and block inappropriate content. Violations may result in immediate account termination.

5. Enforcement and Consequences

If you violate these Terms, we may:

  • Warn you about the violation
  • Temporarily suspend your account
  • Permanently ban your account
  • Remove your content
  • Report illegal activity to law enforcement authorities
🚨 Serious Violations: We will report to appropriate authorities any content or behavior involving: threats of violence, child exploitation, terrorism, or other serious illegal activity. We cooperate fully with law enforcement when required.

6. Intellectual Property

Our Content: The Service, including its design, code, branding, and AI systems, is owned by us. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute it without permission.

Your Content: You retain ownership of the content you create (your S-LUT profile, preferences, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a license to use this content to provide and improve the Service.

AI Outputs: Santa's responses are generated by AI and are provided for entertainment. We make no claims about the accuracy or suitability of AI-generated suggestions.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services:

  • OpenAI: Powers Santa's AI responses (subject to OpenAI's terms)
  • Amazon: Gift suggestions may include Amazon affiliate links
  • Resend: Handles authentication emails
  • Vercel/Supabase: Infrastructure providers

These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices or availability.

8. Affiliate Disclosure

Santa may suggest gifts with links to Amazon or other retailers. These may be affiliate links, meaning we earn a small commission if you make a purchase. This doesn't affect the price you pay. We only suggest products we think are relevant to your interests.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Accuracy or reliability of AI-generated content
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • Security or protection from all threats

We do our best, but we can't guarantee everything will work perfectly all the time. Santa has good intentions, but he's not infallible!

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • We are not responsible for gifts that don't work out (sorry!)
  • We are not liable for third-party products, services, or websites
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us (which is $0 for free users)

11. Service Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice. Life happens! We'll try to give notice if we're shutting down, but we can't guarantee it.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post changes on this page and update the date at the top. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the new Terms. If you don't agree, please stop using the Service.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with standard legal procedures. We prefer to resolve issues amicably—reach out to us first!
